Jesús Otero is a highly experienced Director of Engineering at Penneo A/S, a company that automates processes for European accounting and auditor firms. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Jesús has been instrumental in the development of modern front-end applications based on React.js, node.js, and other technologies to create component-based, composable, large-scale applications that give the product a consistent user experience across all supported platforms, and developers an organized and maintainable codebase. As a Director of Engineering, Jesús is responsible for building and leading the engineering team by setting technical direction and coaching for their professional and personal growth and helping create an environment where the team is empowered to build great products and deliver business results. He was also responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining several of the company's web products such as blogs, websites, and Facebook Campaigns and Open Graph integrations. Jesús holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín, where he completed his studies in 2011. He is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Frontend, Javascript, Web, designer, NodeJS, ReactJS, and AngularJS.
