Jia L. is a seasoned Senior iOS Engineer with over 10 years of experience in mobile application development and architecture. She wrote her first iOS game application at the age of 15 and has since worked on numerous applications across different industries. Jia is proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, GoogleMaps SDK, CoreLocation, Stripe, Plaid, RealmSwift, CoreData, PhotoKit, StoreKit, Git, and Jira. She also has a solid understanding of backend technologies, including PHP, and is comfortable with JavaScript frameworks. Jia is currently working as a Senior iOS Engineer at Onseen, where she worked on a restaurant POS application for Resy, which was later acquired by American Express. She has made significant contributions to decision-making processes, suggested and led the creation of reusable pod libraries, and developed numerous new features that were seamlessly integrated into POS applications. Jia has also assisted backend developers with testing backend APIs via Postman and excels in group problem-solving situations. Prior to Onseen, Jia worked as a Senior iOS Engineer at Liveforms, where she mainly worked on a form-builder iOS application. She designed the system architecture of the form-builder platform, integrated the web-based invoicing system into the iOS application, and mentored junior developers. Jia also worked closely with the lead designer to improve the user experience. Jia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
