Jianna Park is a talented software engineer with a passion for coding and a background in creative writing. She first discovered her love for programming through code poetry and went on to enroll in a 17-week immersive program in NYC, where she gained experience in full-stack JavaScript development, including Node.js, Express, Sequelize ORM for PostgreSQL databases, React and Redux, along with HTML & CSS, and CS fundamentals. Jianna is a quick learner and is always looking for ways to grow. She has a growing interest in natural language processing and the poetics of neural networks. She is also knowledgeable in Flask, WTForm, SQLAlchemy, Jinja, Chai, Mocha, Jasmine, Material UI, Semantic UI, Bootstrap, and jQuery. She is proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Sequelize ORM, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, Python, Git, GitHub, HTML5, and CSS3. Jianna has worked as a Junior ML Engineer at Omdena, where she collaborated with the project partner International Social Service (ISS) and 42 technology changemakers to build an AI model to improve case management of social workers in child protection, migration, and welfare. She also leveraged her web development and growing machine learning skills to help improve the quality of case management. Jianna is currently working as a Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, where she is utilizing her skills in software engineering to develop innovative solutions. She has a strong background in AI, ML, AWS, UI, web, NLP, Redux, TensorFlow, Pandas, Neural Networks, Flask, mobile, NodeJS, Python, and React Native. Jianna has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. She also has completed courses in Python Programming and Front-End Web Development from General Assembly and has studied Creative Writing at Naropa University and French Studies at Université catholique de l'ouest. Jianna is a highly motivated individual with 2.78 years of relevant experience. She is passionate about making a positive impact and is looking forward to new opportunities that will allow her to grow and develop her skills further.
