Jibin Kanangot is a seasoned Testing Automation Engineer with over 7 years of experience in manual and automated testing of protocol converter devices and data acquisition units. He is well-versed in various communication protocols such as IEC 61850, DLMS, MQTT, and OPCUA, and has a strong background in test automation. Currently working as a Senior Test Engineer at ABB, Jibin is responsible for testing ABB 800xA DCS - Asset Optimization module and Smart Client module, OPC UA. He has also previously worked as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Quest, where he was on-site at ABB, and as a Senior Testing Engineer at Kalkitech, where he was responsible for manual and automated testing of Kalkitech sync gateway devices using Python, Robot Framework, and AutoIT. Jibin holds a Bachelor's degree and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, as well as two PG Diplomas in Industrial Automation Engineering and Industrial Automation System Design from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). His technical skills include test automation, SDET, and Python, and he is constantly updating his knowledge and skills to stay abreast of the latest industry trends.
