Jignesh Jain is an accomplished Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, Jignesh is part of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Analytics team, where he is focused on Cloud Dataplex - a managed data lake as a service product. Prior to his current role, Jignesh worked at Uber as a Software Engineer II, where he was part of the Revenue Computation Platform team. He was responsible for developing the backend system for near real-time revenue accounting for every line of business at Uber. With billions of events in the form of Uber trips, eats orders, freight jobs, etc., the nature of the business required completeness & accuracy guarantees, audit controls, SOX adherence, and compliance rules across the world. Jignesh enjoyed solving these unique challenges while working at Uber. Before Uber, Jignesh worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II, where he was part of the Bing Local segment experiences team. His area of focus included developing experiences to obtain user's Geo-location, which was crucial for relevance of Bing local search results. Jignesh completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) in 2015. Prior to that, he completed his H. S. C in Computer Science from Royal College of Arts, Commerce, and Science in 2009. Jignesh's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Backend Development, GCP, and Search. He is a skilled professional with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions.
