Jim Dand is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager with over 30 years of leadership experience in software development and technology. He has worked across multiple industries, including education, financial services, software, and entertainment. Currently, Jim is working as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at DraftKings, a publicly traded technology company headquartered in Boston, where he leads teams around the world and an expanding global presence. Before joining DraftKings, Jim worked as a Software Development Manager and Technical Product Owner at Evo Payments International, where he led a team of software developers and QA analysts. He was responsible for the architecture and implementation of a new comprehensive suite of software products to replace/simplify a tangled mess of legacy products inherited over years of mergers & acquisitions. Jim also worked as a Product Manager - Software at Evo Payments International, where he was responsible for feature prioritization, product roadmapping, coordination between various business and technical teams and departments, and release management. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Computers & Control Systems) from Brown University, where he completed his education in 1992.
