Jim Jansen is a Senior Director of Global Commercial Growth at Just Eat Takeaway.com, the global leader in online food delivery active in 24 countries. With over 26 years of experience, Jim has developed a passion for building high-performing teams, scaling businesses, and building organizations with purpose. He strongly believes that human capital management is the key driver of growth in any business, and his superpowers lie in strategy and leadership. Prior to his current role, Jim spent over twelve years at Google, where he held leadership positions in sales and strategy and accelerated growth in Europe and the US. He thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is a Venture Partner to two early-stage VC funds that focus on unlocking the potential of exceptional founders. Jim has also held different supervisory board memberships and advisory positions and is the 2017 recipient of the Michael P. Beier Award, a Wings Over Wall Street initiative. After 11 years in New York, Jim moved back to the Netherlands in the summer of 2021. Jim's education includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Leiden University and a VWO from Kandinsky College. He has also held Venture Partner positions at forward.one and Antler, a global startup generator and early-stage venture capital firm. In his current role at Just Eat Takeaway.com, Jim heads the global commercial growth team, which has a revenue of approximately €130M and about 150 FTEs.
