Jim Sharnas is an experienced Design Engineer with a career spanning over 31 years. Currently working at Paragon Metals, Inc. as a Design Engineer, Jim is responsible for designing and developing new products and ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards. Prior to joining Paragon Metals, Jim worked at Xy Tool & Die, Inc. as a Technical Sales and Design Engineer. He was responsible for designing and selling tooling and equipment to customers, as well as providing technical support to the sales team. Before that, Jim worked at Eagelpicher Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where he led a team of engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes. Jim's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University. He also attended Sterling Heights High School where he completed his high school education. In addition to his extensive experience in design engineering, Jim has also developed a strong technical skill set. He is proficient in Senior Software Engineering and has a deep understanding of various software tools and technologies.
