Jimmy Merari is a seasoned software development professional with over 21 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cinovasi Rekaprima, PT, where he wears multiple hats, including figuring out what clients really need, making decisions about how software should work in the least painful way, and writing and debugging code. In his early days, Jimmy worked on several real-time application development projects, especially in field instrumentation integration, both in embedded systems and desktop environments. Over time, he has developed a keen interest in exploring web application development, including working with AJAX and the infamous Internet Explorer. Jimmy is an open-source enthusiast and is constantly on the lookout for ways to contribute to the community. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in software engineering, integration, and web development. Prior to his current role, Jimmy worked as an Embedded System Specialist at CITA ITB and Control Laboratory ITB. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), where he studied from 1995 to 2002.
