Jinesh Shah is a Senior Product Manager at Upstox with over 6 years of experience in the field. He is an entrepreneur at heart and loves taking initiatives from zero to one. Jinesh is passionate about building data products and is well-versed in Data Analytics, full-stack product development (web, mobile). In his current role, Jinesh helped launch the Investor mode on Upstox, designed specifically for new-to-market equity investors seeking to invest for the long term. He also owns the Discover module of the app, helping people in their stock discovery through smartlists, news, and learn. Prior to his current role, Jinesh was a Product Manager at Upstox, where he optimized user acquisition and onboarding flow, resulting in better conversion and superior customer experience. He also built tools for the internal sales and verification team to handle 10x volume of leads and automated KYC verification process, which helped in significantly saving acquisition costs and reduced account opening time by a big margin. Jinesh is also a Fellow at Entrepreneur First, where he was one of the 40 members selected for their Bangalore Cohort from over 2000+ applications. He is currently building a product (stockup.in) that helps retail investors grow wealth in the stock market through personalized stock recommendations based on their risk profiles. The product is currently in MVP stage, and he has built an android app and a backtesting platform. Jinesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Program in Investment Advisory/Portfolio Management from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). He also holds expertise in product management, mobile, web, and android development.
