Jinesh Shah is a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer II at Microsoft with over 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, testing, and delivering complex back-end and cloud applications using various programming languages and technologies. He is a responsible and committed engineer with a get-it-done, on-time and high-quality product spirit. Jinesh is passionate about tech and building scalable software, be it a solution that will be used by billions or a passion side project. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, which he expects to complete in 2023. Jinesh is currently working on solving interesting problems and building features for the Azure Automation space. He is focused on upgrading Azure Automation’s web services from Azure Cloud Services(PaaS v1) to Azure Service Fabric(PaaS v2) to make all Azure services zone resilient for control and data plane. He has also built the Azure Automation GitHub Gallery, which has improved his team’s product’s open-source presence and was responsible for an increase from community contribution to Azure automation runbooks. Additionally, he revamped Powershell DSC for Linux to support all the latest Linux Distributions and be python agnostic, resulting in accelerated adoption in multiple solutions owned by his team. In the past, Jinesh has worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he was part of the Azure monitor, which offers services to monitor the user workloads. He collaborated on implementing the cloud service responsible for migrating alert rules from old systems to the new systems while keeping both versions live. He has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern, where he built an Alert rule recommendation engine that used an ensemble of collaborative filtering models. Jinesh brings a wealth of technical skills to the table, including C#, C++, Python, Distributed Systems, Azure Cloud Services, Service Fabric, Java, SQL, High-performance computing, and Machine Learning. He is experienced in software engineering, Azure, AI, SQL, Python, test, ML, Backend, Web, and Java. Jinesh has a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology major with a minor in computational science from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology.
