Jinto Thomas is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer II at Socure, with over 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry. With a strong background in backend development, Jinto has built server-based applications primarily using C/C++, Java, and occasionally Python, Scala, and Golang. He has expert knowledge in Socket Programming, Multi-Threading, Concurrency, and Linux system calls. He is also well-exposed to REST/SOAP APIs, TCP/TLS, and WebSockets clients. Jinto has worked with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Memcache, and Elasticsearch, and has used RabbitMQ and Kafka along with Protobuf on various applications. He was responsible for the migration of real-time streaming price feeds from Java stack to Golang. At Market Simplified, he worked as a Platform Engineer, where he was primarily responsible for building trading engines combining multiple vendor APIs, FIX protocol-based streaming feeds, and exposing internal API to mobile and web-based applications. Jinto holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from V.V.I.T. Dharmapuri.
