Jinu Thankachan is a self-taught programmer and entrepreneur with a passion for building clean products. He has worked across a wide range of products, from IoT to social media and fintech. Jinu's preferred languages are Golang and Python, and he is also interested in Rust. He is more focused on back-end technologies, although he has experience with front-end development using Vue. Jinu is the author of goenv and co-author of goframe. He graduated with an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Calicut. Currently, he works as a Software Engineer at Zomato. Jinu has worked with a number of companies in the past, including InstaShift.io, where he was a founding team member and Lead Programmer. At InstaShift.io, he handled the architecture and implementation of some of the core services of the cryptocurrency exchange. He was also a Co-founder and Lead Programmer at Mobscale, an App Marketing Automation Platform that was part of Batch 8 at 'Startup Wise Guys', a leading B2B accelerator in Europe. Jinu's technical skills include software engineering, back-end development, Golang, SQL, P2P, Python, MongoDB, Javascript, Redis, research science, MySQL, AWS, ECS, product management, Kubernetes, NoSQL, Cassandra, microservices, and DevOps. With 8.53 years of relevant experience, Jinu is a highly skilled and experienced programmer and product enthusiast.
