Jitender Kumar is a seasoned engineering leader with over 8 years of experience in large-scale e-commerce, supply chain platforms, logistics, hyperlocal, and last-mile delivery. With a strong background in building end-to-end technology products and platforms, he has a proven track record of driving the right customer experiences while achieving business goals. Currently, Jitender is a Lead SDE at Fox Corporation, where he is responsible for setting up an SDE team within the platform product that is deployed as multi-tenant. He works closely with product managers, architects, and operations to build strategy, tools, and execute test plans. Jitender has developed microservices for OTT and Video Platform using Go and Java and is managing and handling a team of 10 plus engineers. He has also led the team to develop a Disaster Recovery platform to bring up the infra on-demand using Terraform and AWS SDK. Additionally, he has developed a Reporter Platform to ensure that the perf/chaos metrics are stored for benchmarking and analyzing purposes. Prior to joining Fox Corporation, Jitender worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Gojek, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining the Gojek platform. He has also worked as a Software Engineer at Fox Corporation, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering. Jitender holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from Gurgaon Institute of Technology & Management and completed his High School education from Sh. S.N. Sidheshwar Public School. He has a strong tech stack, including experience with AWS, Terraform, Java, microservices, and infrastructure.
