Jitender Swami is a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Neural Networks. He is currently working as an SDE at apna. Jitender is a recent graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP) where he earned a Master of Technology degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Jitender has a proven track record of success in the tech industry, with over 1.2 years of relevant experience. Prior to joining apna, he worked at 3ivis as an NLP engineer, where he honed his skills in developing and deploying different Adversarial Attacks on Machine Learning models. Jitender also worked as a Research and Development Intern at sigmared ai labs, where he conducted research on Adversarial Attacks and deployed various preprocessing mitigations/defensive techniques to defend Machine Learning models trained on both structured and unstructured datasets. His work included researching and deploying Empirical Robustness and Loss Sensitivity scores for Convolutional Neural Networks, Verified Error and Average Robustness scores for Tree-based classifiers to quantify the effect of Adversarial Attacks, and Feature Squeezing, Gaussian Data Augmentation, and Spatial Smoothing preprocessing mitigations/defensive techniques.
