Jitesh Suvarna is a seasoned Sr. Development Team Lead (Mobile) with over 8 years of experience in developing and managing diverse mobility projects and products. He is currently working at Shaadi.com, where he is on a mission to explore the green horizon of the Android ecosystem. Jitesh has extensive experience in developing Android applications using native SDK, using Eclipse IDE and currently on Android Studio. He has worked on around 20 plus applications, from development to later support, and has uploaded and updated apps on the Play Store. Jitesh has also worked on SVN, Bitbucket, and Git and is a believer in agile development. Jitesh's key skills include layout development, understanding of Android activity lifecycle, persistent data storage, and web services with JSON parsing. He has also integrated custom and native libraries, social media SDKs, Google Maps, and other location-based features, and push notification services. Jitesh has implemented MVP architecture for maintainable codebase and worked on templatization of code modules for products. Jitesh has worked at People Interactive as a Development Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer - Mobile. He has also led a team of 4 developers and worked in an agile environment. Jitesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from D.G. Ruparel and completed his HSC from Viva Junior College and SSC from Little Flower English High School.
