Jithendra Gangarapu is an experienced Sr. Data Scientist at Target with a strong background in Big Data Engineering and Data Science. With almost 7 years of relevant experience, Jithendra has developed a diverse skill set that includes Data Engineering, Spark, Python, Scala, Java, Apache Hive, SQL, AWS, Random Forest, Edge Detection, Deep Learning, NLP, Docker, ML, and Pytorch. Currently, Jithendra works on Demand Forecasting and Supply Chain Management at Target, where he utilizes his expertise in Data Science to drive business growth and optimize operations. Prior to his current role, Jithendra worked as a Teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he assisted more than 100 students in two courses, Electromagnetic Waves, and Digital Signal Processing Lab. Jithendra holds a Master of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa. During his academic career, Jithendra developed a strong foundation in his field of study and gained valuable experience in research and analysis.
