Jiyo Jolly Palatti is a highly skilled Control System Engineer currently working at Alamarin-Jet Oy. With almost 6 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, Jiyo has worked with various automotive OEMs in the UK and South Korea. Jiyo's expertise lies in the development and testing of Model-based engineering solutions for automotive systems, as well as Auto-Code generation using the model-based design for embedded applications. Jiyo is also experienced in coding and debugging in C, C++, and Python. Jiyo's academic background is impressive, having completed two Master of Science degrees in Autonomous Systems from Aalto University and Technische Universität Berlin. Jiyo also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kerala. During Jiyo's time at Aalto University, they researched autonomous overtaking under complex driving conditions, extending and developing methods that perform planning and control of autonomous overtaking and lane-keeping maneuvers of vehicles. Jiyo also implemented algorithms and model predictive control-based controllers in MATLAB environment and tested and validated the methods using Automated Driving Toolbox and Vehicle Dynamics Blockset in complex simulated overtaking scenarios. Prior to this, Jiyo also worked as a student researcher at Aalto University, researching autonomous overtaking under complex driving conditions as part of their master's thesis.
