Joel Joy is a pre-final year undergraduate student in the department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Palakkad. He has a keen interest in exploring different fields like Web Development, Robotics, IoT, Deep Learning, and Computer Graphics. Joel has done various projects that have enhanced his knowledge and skills, and he is always eager to learn new things. His aim is to pursue a career in the core domain, particularly in areas related to Electronics, Signal Processing, and Deep Learning. Currently, Joel is a Summer Intern at Siemens, where he is working on Power characterization and Optimization for IoT devices based on NBIOT communication. In the past, he has worked as a Web Developer for the techno-cultural fest of IIT Palakkad, where he worked on developing the front-end part of the website. He has also worked as a Research Intern at UST, where he developed an Autonomous Navigation Robot for Disinfection, and used Fusion 360 to make the model. The programming was done in ROS. Joel's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Palakkad, which he is expected to complete in 2023. He has a TechStack that includes Web, Deep Learning, Frontend, and Research Scientist. Joel has relevant experience of 0.87 years, and he is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in his field. With his passion for learning and his diverse skill set, Joel is poised to make a significant impact in the field of Electrical Engineering.
