Joesamuel S is a Senior Software Engineer at National Instruments India with over 7 years of experience in Module, Framework, Platform, and Large-Scale Application Developments. He possesses a strong knowledge of instrumentation, measurement, and testing, and is a self-starter who proactively seeks information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Joesamuel is a team player with experience in handling small scale teams and has deep knowledge in multiple NI hardware, system design, and software design methodologies. At National Instruments, Joesamuel has made a significant impact in RF cellular standards (WCDMA/TD-SCDMA) API development process. He has added many features into WLAN/Bluetooth Soft Front Panel (SFP) projects for both toolkit and RFmx and initiated and developed Waveform Creator for WLAN/BT Soft Front Panels. Joesamuel has ensured sustainability and maintenance of RFSG Soft Front Panel Application and added major features like offline analysis, LO configuration, and calibration Utility. He has also added support for multiple new VST Hardware even before hardware release and added support for all features mentioned in IEEE 802.15.1 3.1 to draft 5.1 in Bluetooth SFP. With a team size of 3, Joesamuel has handled 9 software and 4 products and successfully released all from 15.5 to 20.0.1. Joesamuel has also worked at Moog India Technology Centre as an Associate Test Engineer, where he was involved in all the phases of the project “Spoiler Electromechanical Actuator Testing (SEMA)” and gained development ownership of a new unique platform development for the entire organization “Component Test Software (CTS) Platform Development”. He has also developed code and led a three-person team in “Centerline Platform Development (CPD) Software” project and played a significant role in “787-9 IB Spoiler Endurance Test Software Development” and “G280 Multi-Function Spoiler Automated Test Software Development”. Joesamuel has proposed, implemented, and deployed “Paperless Work Instruction Software” in the production floor, which reduced the test-report paper usage and manual errors. Joesamuel holds an M.Sc in Electronics and Instrumentation from Madurai Kamaraj University and a B.Sc in Electronics and Communication from the same university.
