Joey Lea is an experienced full-stack software engineer with a strong focus on front-end development. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where he is a part of the Interactive Experiences team. Joey and his team are responsible for creating new and innovative ways for Netflix members across the globe to engage with world-class stories. Prior to joining Netflix, Joey worked as a Web Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he was responsible for delivering key customer-facing experiences, including checkout, SEO, interactive widgets, food for pickup, and cart. He has also worked as the Founder and CEO of W3BY LLC, a small but nimble creative agency that specializes in web design, SEO, and PHP development. Joey holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida, where he studied from 2007 to 2011. He also attended Oviedo High School. In his 12.95 years of relevant experience, Joey has developed a strong skill set in software engineering, front-end development, web development, and PHP. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Joey is an asset to any team he works with.
