John Hodgkins is an experienced Senior Service Delivery Manager/Managed Services Account Manager with over 16 years of experience working in the computer software industry. He is currently serving as a City Council Member at the City of Rathdrum, Idaho. John has a strong background in Project Management, Virtualization, Cloud, Storage, and IT Service Management. Throughout his career, John has demonstrated his expertise in ITIL, Agile Methodologies, and Service Delivery. He has worked for Veritas Technologies LLC, where he served as a Managed Services Account Manager and Service Delivery Manager. As a Managed Services Account Manager, John was responsible for operational excellence and delivering value to Managed Services stakeholders. He ensured quality of services and enforced delivery SLAs while acting as a trusted adviser and customer advocate. He also established strategic partnerships with customer stakeholders and identified leads to help increase the Veritas footprint. As a Service Delivery Manager, John was primarily responsible for activation and delivery of the Managed Backup Service in its entirety, with particular attention to SLA adherence, operational ownership/accountability, and regular reporting to the end customer. John holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Computer Network Administration, a Computer Specialist degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, and a Web Design degree in Computer Network Operations from Lane Community College.
