John Vilk is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer at Stripe, where he works remotely on the Developer Environments team. He is responsible for improving the code authorship experience at Stripe, and has been working in this role for several years. John has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also earned a Master's degree in Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. With over 4.70 years of relevant experience, John has a strong background in software engineering, senior software engineering, web development, NodeJS, Javascript, and MongoDB. He is highly skilled in his field and has a passion for creating innovative solutions that improve the user experience.
