Currently, Jonah is responsible for leading the software engineering team at LegalZoom and ensuring that the company's products are of the highest quality. Prior to joining LegalZoom, Jonah worked at Intuit as a Principal and Staff Software Engineer, where he was responsible for full-stack development on QuickBooks Self-Employed. During his time at Intuit, Jonah led the successful migration of the QuickBooks Self-Employed application from the Intuit data center to AWS, containerizing the various components of the application and its dependencies, creating Jsonnet templates for all of the various Kubernetes objects, and creating automated monitoring around all of this new infrastructure. He also led the successful decomposition of the "Trips" service, migrating ~160 million records without downtime or disruption to end-users. Jonah's technical expertise includes software engineering, UI development, web development, integration, AWS, Kubernetes, MySQL, and infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and completed his high school education at Covington Latin School.
