Before joining Google, Jonathan worked as a Software Engineer at Taco Bell, where he collaborated with Marketing & Production Services teams to release digital menus for online orders. He maintained C# & SQL pipelines that produced digital menus for UberEats, GrubHub & Postmates nationwide, responsible for 1 million in sales per day. He also developed an AWS ChatOps Slack bot for pipeline automation, and Cloudwatch alerts. Jonathan added CRUD functionality to an internal ASP.Net web app that allows team members to override item names. At Taco Bell, Jonathan also worked on developing real-time data pipelines for an internal point of sale device. He developed a real-time data pipeline for streaming nation-wide sales transactions for BI analysis, reducing the visibility on sales data from 24 hours down to seconds. He created data pipelines with Python, JavaScript, Couchbase, Kinesis, EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB & Athena. Jonathan successfully pitched design proposals with detailed architecture diagrams and thorough cost analysis. He developed a daily item export for stores that allows store kitchens to load balance customer orders.
