Jonathan Lucas is a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer, currently working with Openbase as a founding team member. He has a strong background in frontend software engineering, with a particular focus on startups. Jonathan has been instrumental in building the v1 of Openbase's frontend, which took the company through Y Combinator's S20 program. He has continued to support and scale the platform since then, while also taking on responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, product development, and product engineering. Jonathan's past experiences include working with AllTrails as a Frontend Engineer, where he used ReactJS, Webpack, CSS Modules, and Ruby on Rails to develop the company's web application. He has also worked with Serverless Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer, where he used ReactJS, Webpack, CSS Modules, Recharts, ElasticSearch, Kibana, and AWS to develop the company's serverless platform. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from Savannah College of Art and Design, where he studied Printmaking and Interactive Design. He also studied Korean Language at Yonsei University in 2020. Jonathan's technical skills include Frontend development, Ruby, Software Engineering, ReactJS, AWS, and Elastic Search. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Jonathan is a seasoned professional who is passionate about using his skills to develop innovative solutions for startups.
