Jordan Brown is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for programming. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has worked with a variety of programming languages including Common Lisp, Ruby, Smalltalk, Standard ML, and Rust. He is also proficient in C#, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, CoffeeScript, various shells (Bash, Zsh, Plan9 rc), and your typical *nix command-line tools (Perl, grep, awk, cut, etc). Recently, he has been working with Clojure. Jordan is most comfortable working with Linux, although he has professional experience working on Windows platforms. He has experience working with web servers and databases on both platforms, including Apache, Lighttpd, IIS, Postgres, Sqlite3, and SQL Server. Outside of programming, Jordan enjoys playing music, video games, board games, and spending time on Reddit. He has worked for companies such as Uber and Patientco in the past, and currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Panorama Education. Jordan holds a degree from the University of South Alabama, where he completed his education in software engineering. He also attended Excel High School earlier in his academic career.
