Jorge Daboub is an ambitious and driven computer science major with a passion for new technologies and their potential to solve some of the world's toughest problems. With a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset, Jorge is not one to shy away from a challenge. He believes in the power of hard work and leading by example, which is evident in his track record of success. Currently, Jorge is working as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where he assists students during their lab sessions, helps them debug their code, and evaluates their lab assignments. He is also tasked with weekly reviews, which involves grading around 20 students' homework and projects in C and providing feedback on their work. Prior to this, Jorge worked as a Software Engineer Intern at x2ai, where he held office hours to aid students in better understanding physics concepts and lab procedures and experiments. He also repaired equipment and performed general lab maintenance involving soldering, 3D printing, among others. Additionally, he worked as a Mobile Application Developer at Farmacias San Nicolás, where he diagnosed and resolved problems that individuals may have with network connectivity, operating systems, and a variety of applications. Jorge is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an Integrated Business Sequence Minor at the University of Notre Dame, which he is set to complete in 2022. He also holds a High School Diploma from Colegio Lamatepec. With a wealth of experience in software engineering, mobile, and web development, Jorge is well-equipped to take on any challenge that comes his way. He is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always looking for new ways to improve his skills and make a positive impact on the world.
