José Antonio Martínez Quintero is a highly skilled and experienced technology professional with 14.28 years of relevant experience in the industry. As the Co-Founder & CTO of plerk (YC S20), he has played a key role in building the company from the ground up and establishing it as a leading player in the market. He is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, including product development, software engineering, and project management. Prior to plerk, José was the Co-Founder & Fullstack Developer at sensait, where he led the development of a product focused on medical laboratories. He successfully integrated hardware and software to create a cost-effective solution that provides real-time monitoring of substances and temperature control through alerts. His expertise in Python (Django) and JS (jQuery, React) was crucial in the development of the solution. José also founded dpeluche studios, where he created tools and controllers for prototypes, implemented gameplay, UI, and game physics, and improved performance and memory issues. He generated all documentation for collaborative work with artists. José holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and is a graduate of the prestigious Y Combinator program. He is a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and product manager with a deep understanding of the tech stack and the ability to manage complex projects.
