Jose Bermejo is a Software/Systems Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, with a wide range of experience in software development. His expertise ranges from Embedded Software Development in the Aerospace Industry to Application Software Development in various different platforms. Currently, he leads the UEFI Diagnostics Development Team in the FADD (Factory Automation and Diagnostics Development) Group in Hewlett Packard Enterprise at Aguadilla. As a Software Developer in Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Jose designs, builds, and tests various solutions for their Factory Process as part of the Factory Automation and Diagnostics Development (FADD) team. Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Honeywell, where he was responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for Guidance and Nav Systems, including Software Requirements Based Testing. Most of the development was done in C++ and C with some requiring Assembly Language. He also did volunteer work, organized an Object Oriented Design and Development basics tutorial talk, and led the Movember campaign during 2012 and 2013, where they raised money for Men’s Health Awareness while having fun growing their mustaches. Jose's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering, both from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. He also worked as a Teacher Assistant at the university, where he was in charge of teaching the Data Structures and Operative System Classes Laboratories to the students, providing class-related exercises and clearing up doubts in the class content that they may have had.
