Jose Loui is an industrious Software Engineer with nearly four years of experience in building high-tech products in complex and dynamic environments. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at marketfeed, a Y Combinator-backed startup. Jose is a team player with a can-do attitude, who has made a startup from scratch. Prior to marketfeed, Jose co-founded medichive, a company that provided a means to take control and share patient data by building a robust blockchain-based ecosystem that promised privacy and security. He mentored in IIM Bangalore and reached the finals of NIT Conclave 2019, held in NIT Kanpur. At medichive, he designed and developed an MVP of a medical platform based on a blockchain eco-system (Hyperledger Indy). He planned, designed, documented and developed a database structure for securely storing, retrieving and sharing patient data (non-relational), a web application and used Hyperledger Indy ecosystem as a reference for R-BAC. He has good experience in using HTML/CSS and JavaScript for web application development, Node.js along with Express for setting up the backend and integrating Hyperledger Indy’s framework, React.js along with Redux, Axios, and React-Router for setting up the frontend, MongoDB along with GridFS to set up the NoSQL database, Excel for financial planning, and Docker for hosting multiple nodes. Before medichive, Jose worked as a Project Engineer at Wipro, where he trained and worked alongside the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) team. He monitored and enforced security policies, utilised security operations standards to analyse and escalate security events, and developed solutions for process automation wherever possible. He maintained and validated incident response plans and processes to address potential threats. He has experience in operations of Symantec Mail Gateway, Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA), Palo Alto Firewalls, Zscaler Cloud Proxy, F5 Load Balancer, and serviceNow. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. He has relevant experience of 4.77 years and is skilled in Software Engineering, Javascript, NodeJS, Blockchain, Research Scientist, Web, MongoDB, Docker, NoSQL, Redux, Backend, Frontend, ReactJS, and Typescript.
