Joseph Leinsdorf is a cloud software engineer with a passion for designing sustainable web architectures. With almost 14 years of relevant experience, he is well-versed in technical and agile practices that promote efficiency in development and long-term application maintenance. Currently working as a Backend Engineer at octave, Joseph is responsible for cloud infrastructure, integrations, dev ops, backend and frontend development, team-building, and mentoring. Prior to his current role, Joseph worked as a Software Consultant and Web Developer at leinsdorf digital. There, he was responsible for Javascript application architecture and development, and also worked as an engineer on Salesforce Platinum-Partner software teams. He has also worked as a Front End Developer at human nyc, where he was responsible for feature enhancements for Saturdays Surf e-commerce site using SCSS, Gulp.js, and Javascript to simplify and extend the existing codebase. Joseph has a strong educational background, having completed a Web Development Immersive course from general assembly in 2015. He also holds a Continuing Education degree from the school of visual arts and a B.A. in Philosophy from the George Washington University. He completed his high school education from Crested Butte Community School.
