Prior to joining Netflix, Joshua worked as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Man Crates, where he led the store and checkout teams and refactored the website toolchain to improve the speed and quality of team releases. He also developed D&D document-based search for the store and analytics platforms, D&D edge-based A/B test suite to allow marketing and product orgs to self-service variants, and D&D edge-based rendering pipeline for A/B tests with zero performance impacts. Joshua also served as a CTO at Sokikom, where he led full-stack development and managed build tooling for device-agnostic multiplayer interactive media. He collaborated across orgs to develop product requirements and documentation, maintained development schedules, conducted code reviews, and drove product development. He also identified appropriate technology for engineering and curriculum teams and implemented iterative cycles, including rapid prototyping, usabilities, and A/B testing.
