Joshua Berger is a skilled Ruby on Rails developer and Cyber Security Administrator with over 11 years of relevant experience in IT systems administration and business administration. He is an Atlanta native and has lived in several parts of the country, making him adaptable to new challenges. Joshua is proficient in programming languages such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, HTML, CSS, Sinatra, Java, C, and Javascript. Currently, Joshua is the Lead Ruby on Rails Developer at Wild Fork Foods, where he primarily develops e-commerce apps using Ruby on Rails. He also works on liquid programming for Shopify and RPA for various processes and systems. Joshua has previously worked as a Software Engineer at UCAR The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, where he was attached to NSF's XSEDE II project as an a3m/XRAS team member. He developed apps using Rails, Ruby, Python, and AJAX. He has also worked as a Javascript/Rails/DevOps Engineer at Nuovo Solutions, where he refactored and patched code for a client on a one-month contract. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Biology, Anthropology, and Sociology from Cornell College, where he graduated in 2011. He also holds a High School Diploma from Tallulah Falls Preparatory School, where he graduated in 2003. Joshua's tech stack includes Ruby, SQL, Javascript, Software Engineering, and DevOps.
