Joshua Henderson is a curious engineer and passionate leader who is committed to implementing systematic efficiency improvements to facilitate data-driven solutions on cross-functional teams. He is currently working as a data engineer at Hungryroot, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's data infrastructure. With over 2.86 years of relevant experience, Joshua has worked with renowned companies such as Forcepoint and Samsung. At Forcepoint, he worked as a data engineer, where he built interactive inventory forecasting dashboards that reduced task management by 400 to 180 minutes per day, improved technician morale, and decreased equipment rundown by approximately 1.5 hours per day, saving the company $5.5 million per year. He also defined new operations efficiency KPIs and built dashboards from Python ETL+Amazon S3 for management to monitor and drive performance trends over time. At Samsung, Joshua worked as an Engineer II, where he worked on cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning into legacy Automated Process Control systems, streamlining product throughput and quality. His project was accepted into the President's initiative to be adapted to multiple departments. He also developed Spotfire Dashboard to monitor real-time tool health to suggest tools for equipment engineers and managers to take down for preventative maintenance. Joshua is a lifelong learner who is always curious and eager to learn new things. He holds a Master of Science degree in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He is proficient in data engineering, SQL, Python, ETL, ML, and Mobile technologies. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys bike rides around the city, playing DnD with friends, and cooking up new foods.
