Joshua Olaiya is a young and ambitious robotics and aeronautical engineer with a strong passion for technology and innovation. He has extensive experience in embedded systems, Internet of Things, radio controlled planes, drones, and 3D modeling. Joshua is currently on a mission to solve socio-economic challenges across Low and Middle Income Countries (LIMICs) through technology and innovation. Joshua's journey into the world of robotics began at a tender age of 13, and through hard work, sheer grit, and perseverance, he has been able to self-learn and master several programming languages and technological skills-set. He started programming at 13, developed his first game at 15, and built the toughest project of his life (hand gesture robots) at 17. Joshua has a great passion for technology, and his determination and curiosity have made him what he is today as a robotics guru. Joshua is currently working as a Robotics Instructor at Spacematics, where he shares his knowledge and expertise with others. He has also held leadership positions in the past, such as President of Jet's Club and Robotics Engineer. Joshua has a strong educational background, having completed his West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in Science at Ejigbo Senior High School. He is currently pursuing a London City and Guild Degree in Electrical Installation at Peter Akinola Foundation, which he will complete in 2022. Joshua is an expert in C+ (Arduino IDE), Scratch, Python, MIT App Inventor, Sculptris, Autocad 123D design, and BetaFlight. He is also a research scientist with relevant experience of 1.02 years. Joshua is open to learning opportunities such as scholarships, sponsorships, internships, and mentorships for continuous growth and career improvements. Joshua is a young influencer who inspires and is the voice of other young innovators on LinkedIn. He is a self-taught, self-sponsored, and self-motivated teenager who has never given up on his dreams. Joshua is a valuable addition to any team that values innovation, creativity, and determination.
