Joshua Wong is a highly accomplished AI Research Scientist, currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO of Hypotenuse AI. He has over 9 years of relevant experience and is backed by top investors including Y Combinator and other VCs/strategic angels. Joshua is passionate about creating unique copywriting and visual content using AI. His company, Hypotenuse AI, offers blog articles, product descriptions, advertising captions, and pictures or artwork within seconds just by providing a few keywords. Prior to founding Hypotenuse AI, Joshua worked at Amazon as an Applied Research Scientist (Machine Learning). During his tenure, he was involved in machine learning research for Amazon AI (Alexa) and published several first-author papers on language generation, information extraction, and building knowledge graphs. His research was focused on multimodal neural networks for computer vision and NLP, including the application of transformer-based models (BERT, GPT) to information extraction, natural language understanding, knowledge graphs, and natural language generation. Joshua holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and has also attended Anglo-Chinese Junior College. He is well-versed in various tech stacks such as AI, ML, BERT, GPT, NLP, Neural Networks, and Computer Vision.
