Juhi Mittal is an accomplished machine learning engineer with a strong background in software engineering and deep learning. She has a proven track record of adapting to new domains quickly and effectively and is currently seeking summer internship roles beginning June 2023. Juhi holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Additionally, she has completed her schooling in Mathematics and Science from Aklank Public School and Science and Maths from Sophia Girls Senior Secondary School, Kota, Rajasthan. Juhi has worked as a Visiting Associate at the University of Pennsylvania, where she analyzed mental health digital biomarkers using BERT and LDA Topic Modeling with the time, geography, and other district-level characteristics on the 100m+ tweet data during COVID-19. She also developed a Weakly-Supervised Iterative Graph-Based Approach for Retrieving COVID-19 Misinformation Topics and implemented a spark-based mapper to map the user location to respective admin levels for 1 billion+ tweets and wrote the Twitter and Reddit API puller used by the group. Juhi has also worked as a Quantitative Researcher at JP Morgan and as a Research School at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems. Juhi's technical skills include Software Engineering, ML, BERT, Research Scientist, Spark, and Deep Learning. She has 2.26 years of relevant experience and is actively seeking MLE/DS and SWE intern positions for Summer 2023. Juhi is a self-starter with a curious mindset and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.
