Prior to joining Google, Justin worked at Credit Karma as a Software Engineer and at Disqus as a Front-End Software Engineer. At Disqus, Justin implemented new ad types in the commenting widget using Backbone, driving 20% more revenue. He also refactored the main commenting widget architecture to make it compatible with the new ad units and worked with the product side to make iterative improvements easier on the new ad units. Justin worked with other engineers to reduce monthly CDN costs by 10% with better bundling and compression. He also worked on evangelizing and enabling more ESLint rules in the repo for a more maintainable code base. Justin added new features and fixed bugs in the publisher dashboard using/implemented in React. Justin holds a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Hack Reactor and a degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
