Justin Lee is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs with a wealth of experience in driving major change programs through collaborative teams. He is a global transformation leader who is skilled in solving business problems. Justin is currently the Head of Prime Services Clearing Technology Transformation at Goldman Sachs, where he is responsible for driving the front-to-back transformation of the Clearing Stack Architecture for their Prime Services Clients. He has built the business case, gained senior leader sponsorship, planned the project roadmap, and executed across multiple system streams. Justin has re-engineered through modern technologies and organizational change, improving the client experience while significantly reducing risk and cost and expanding new revenue opportunities. Prior to his current role, Justin was the Warsaw Technology Regional Manager at Goldman Sachs, where he played a leadership role in rapidly building out their new office in Poland. He grew the Technology team from 30 to 190 people in 3 years, during which time the whole office grew to 700 people. Justin focused on instilling culture, global team connectivity, and building local leadership across the office. He identified, coached, and promoted new leaders and engaged with clients and managed new vendor relationships. Justin also drove marketing and branding efforts through university engagements and technical conferences. Justin was also the Head of Product & Pricing Reference Data Technology at Goldman Sachs, where he owned the Securities Instrument Master Product and Pricing Reference Data system used by thousands of applications within the firm. He led a team of 40 developers across 5 global cities and drove a key transformation program to reduce operational risk through modernizing a legacy data sourcing stack and replacing it with a hosted stream processing platform. Justin launched a new company, SmartStream Reference Data Utility, through a consortium partnership of major banks. He was part of the deal team that selected the vendor, performed due diligence, and promoted the company through client conferences. Justin served on the new company board post-deal. Justin holds a Master of Science in Physics from Imperial College London and has attended Sogang University, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Columbia University, and Mid-Pacific High School. He has over 26 years of relevant experience and is skilled in product management.
