Kailas Joshi is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Cohesity as an MTS, leading a team for the development of S3 Object store. Kailas has extensive knowledge in Storage Systems, Linux Kernel, and ARM. He has worked on various components of Cohesity's proprietary distributed file system, including NFS and NAS Tiering. Prior to joining Cohesity, Kailas worked at MapR Technologies as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. He was responsible for the design and development of Erasure Coding for MapR's proprietary distributed file system. Kailas has also worked at Toshiba Software India as a System Analyst, where he gained hands-on experience in ARM-based firmware design and development. He worked on a next-generation product based on Nand Flash technology and NVME protocol and was involved in the design and development of Flash Translation Layer. Kailas holds an MTech degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BE degree in Computer Science from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various programming languages and tools. Kailas has expertise in software engineering and senior software engineering and is always eager to learn new technologies.
