Kailash Nadh is a highly experienced software developer and FOSS hacker with over two decades of experience in the field. He is currently the Co-Founder of FOSS United, an organization that supports Free and Open Source (FOSS) projects and communities in India. FOSS United runs community programs and events and provides funding to FOSS projects. Kailash is also a part of the Rainmatter Foundation, which focuses on supporting organizations and causes related to climate change, ecology, and livelihoods tied to them. He has committed much of the resources at Zerodha, India's largest stock broker, to the foundation. Before his current roles, Kailash was the CTO at Zerodha, where he led the technology team and helped build a technology and product stack for the capital markets. He started Zerodha Tech in 2013, and since then, the company has been at the forefront of innovation in the industry. Kailash holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence & Computational Linguistics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science, both from Middlesex University. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer for over 16 years, gaining extensive experience in the field. Kailash is also involved with several foundations and organizations, including the Indic Digital Archive Foundation and Samagata Foundation. He is passionate about technology and its potential to make a positive impact on society. His skills and experience make him a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
