Kalyan Karri is a highly experienced Vice President of Cloud Engineering at LeadSquared, with over 20 years of engineering experience in product and services companies. He has worked in various roles ranging from Product Development, Performance Testing, Project Management to managing Cloud Operations (includes DevOPs & IT). Kalyan has a proven capability in leading distributed teams located in the US and India. Kalyan has a unique skill set that combines Engineering background with diverse technologies needed to deploy, host and monitor complex enterprise products. He has deep expertise in dynamically optimizing production costs (with minimal impact on application performance) based on usage patterns. Kalyan is also highly skilled in troubleshooting Microsoft technologies including IIS, SQL server and in AWS. Kalyan has held various leadership positions in his career. He was the Director of Cloud Operations at Innovapptive, where he was responsible for managing the INFRA for Innovapptive including instances in AWS, services in GCP, tenants in SAP and all tools (subscriptions). Kalyan also headed the IT operations for both India and the US. He played the role of Engineering Manager in initiating and driving one of the key engineering projects (Analytics and License Manager) and was involved in key decision making on the architecture (MongoDB, ReactJS, Micro-servers, secured and highly scalable API setup, etc.) and successfully completed the phase-1 with much appreciated SCRUM driven project using JIRA. Kalyan was proactive in initiating Application Performance Monitoring for their Mobile application using FireBase. He played a critical role in handling customer escalations using Crashlytics data from tools like FireBase & InstaBug and led the RCA process to closure. Kalyan was also the Director Engineering Services at Technovert, where his responsibilities included managing team size of more than 40 and lead Project Management with redefined and improvised PMO templates, Resource & Delivery Management for customers across the global including ASIA, EMEA, and US, and Quality Engineering across all projects and products. Kalyan holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Mechanical Engineering from vnr vignana jyothi institute of engineering and technology. His tech stack includes AWS, SQL, test, DevOps, ReactJS, MongoDB, GCP, Mobile, Senior Software Engineer, and infra. With his relevant experience of 22.70 years, Kalyan is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of Cloud Engineering.
