Kamal Govindraj is an accomplished software architect with over 26 years of experience in building enterprise and large-scale web applications for the Java Platform. He is currently serving as the Chief Architect at Groww, where he specializes in leveraging cloud technology, mostly AWS, and noSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis when appropriate. Kamal has a strong technical background in C++11, STL/BOOST, Linux Network Programming, Multi-core optimization, Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Springframework, OO, REST/SOAP Webservices, AWS, MongoDB, Redis, JavaScript, Performance/Scalability, software product engineering, and mentoring. He has worked on multiple projects throughout his career, and his expertise lies in designing and developing scalable and reliable software solutions that meet the needs of businesses. Before joining Groww, Kamal worked as an Engineer at Udaan and as the Director of Software Engineering at Acceletrade. He has also completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University BDT College of Engineering in 1996 and an SSLC degree from St. Charles High School, Bhadravathi in 1990.
