Kamalakar Chaudhari is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in distributed web applications and system software. Currently, he serves as the Head of Engineering at Strata, where he leads the engineering team and oversees the development of scalable web applications in the FinTech domain. Prior to joining Strata, Kamalakar worked as an Engineering Lead at Orowealth, a series-A funded B2C and B2B FinTech startup that provides mutual funds analysis platforms. During his tenure at Orowealth, Kamalakar led a small team of engineers to design, build, and deploy multiple scalable web applications. He was responsible for devising product roadmaps, ensuring the quality of software, and timely deliveries. Kamalakar demonstrated technical leadership by bringing changes to the overall architecture. Kamalakar's previous experience also includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Druva, a data backup and governance solutions provider to enterprises. While at Druva, Kamalakar was part of the client software team that gathered data from endpoint devices, performed de-duplication at the source to save bandwidth and storage on the server. He extensively worked on SSL-based network security and implemented a feature of OS migration and data restore across devices. Kamalakar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from All India Shri Shivaji Memorial College of Engineering.
