Kamalnath Polakam is a Master of Science in Computer Science student at Stony Brook University, actively seeking internship opportunities for Summer 2023. He is a curious person who thrives on solving meaningful and tough challenges, which he believes makes him wiser, smarter, and a better person. Kamalnath believes that life is a gift and his purpose is to experience it to its fullest in his own way, collaborating with knowledgeable and talented people along the way to make it more rewarding. Kamalnath currently works as a Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, where he was appointed for the course Fundamentals of Software Development (CSE 316). Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Samsung, where he led a team of four CSE students to extend Non-Rigid Neural Radiance Fields for efficient novel view synthesis of a dynamic deforming scene with a monocular video as input under Samsung's university collaboration program. He also developed an AI-based low light video denoising solution and a lightweight camera software development kit for 3rd party Social Networking apps to get an enhanced image and video quality. Kamalnath holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and is expected to complete his Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in December 2024. He has experience in a range of tech stacks, including Software Engineering, TensorFlow, AI, OpenCV, Python, Mobile, Pytorch, Java, Kotlin, and Android, and has 2.44 years of relevant experience. Kamalnath is a passionate and driven individual who is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow and learn.
