Kamlesh Talreja is a seasoned technology executive and General Manager with a strong track record of building revolutionary new products and startup teams across Enterprise and Consumer domains. He is currently serving as the Co-Head of Engineering for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he is responsible for building client-focused Asset Management products. With over 16 years of experience, Kamlesh has led multiple high-impact businesses and technology teams from startup to scale, building and growing P&L for >$1B+ businesses. He has a history of innovation across AI/ML, Cloud, e-commerce, and mobile with 20+ patents. Kamlesh has hands-on technology and product leadership experience launching and operating high-traffic Tier-1, public APIs and services with intuitive user experiences. Prior to his current role, Kamlesh was the General Manager for AWS Marketplace at Amazon, an innovative global AWS service that streamlines customer’s software and services procurement needs. He led the P&L and product owner for the service, which helped customers migrate to the cloud and streamlined procurement of software, services, and data, including first-in-industry commerce workflow capabilities. Kamlesh was responsible for all aspects of the customer experience, including developer experience, product catalog management, discovery and buyer experience, billing and transaction processing, global regulations compliance, and post-transaction reporting. Before that, Kamlesh served as the Director of Amazon Appstore for Android, where he led the developer experience and mobile app management for Appstore for Amazon Fire tablet, FireTV, Echo, Fire Phone, and Android phones. He built a globally distributed organization to deliver innovative and low-friction developer services for 3P apps developers. Kamlesh increased Appstore mobile app selection by 100x over two years and worked with top gaming and productivity application providers such as EA, Dropbox, Evernote, and others to drive increased selection for the store. Kamlesh has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Multimedia from the University of California and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai. He is proficient in AWS, Senior Software Engineering, AI, Mobile, Product Management, ML, and Android.
