Kanak Mittal is an Associate Software Developer at Zscaler with a passion for creating impactful projects that can improve people's lives. He is a final year BTech computer science student from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, proficient in Python, data science, and web development technologies. Kanak's passion for creating impactful projects is evident from his work as a Data Science Intern at Mobile Premier League. He customized the App's experience based on users' behavior and developed a model that could predict the ideal order of featured events for a particular user, increasing the click-through rate of the featured events by 20%. He collected, studied, and interpreted large datasets containing millions of entries, distributed over a large network. Kanak has also worked as a Research Intern at Samsung, where he led a team of 4 individuals researching various components of 5G Networks. He used Machine Learning to optimize topology management of IAB Networks to improve User Equipment coverage and satisfy the specified Quality of Standard. Kanak communicated his findings with Samsung Mentors and worked on their Feedback. Kanak's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Data Science/Artificial Intelligence from Graphic Era Hill University, which he will complete in 2023.
