Kanak Naik is a Mechanical Engineer and Sustainability Geek with a passion for promoting the growth of a Circular Economy. He is currently working as a Business Development Executive at Divide By Zero Technologies, a company that provides 3D printing solutions to businesses. Kanak completed three internships during his graduation from the University of Mumbai, and also freelanced with Cactus Communications. He has taken up responsibilities as the NSS Secretary and Magazine Editor of the Institute, which led to a holistic development of his vital skillsets including workplace training, technical approach, proficiency in verbal and non-verbal information exchange, leadership qualities, team management, public speaking and decision making. After his graduation, Kanak was associated with Geofluid Processors Pvt. Ltd. as a Sales Engineer, where he was introduced to the fundamentals of Marketing and B2B Sales from a Technical Standpoint. Later on, he joined Divide By Zero Technologies, where he is currently working as the Business Development Executive. Kanak is an active Social Worker and has worked for Environmental Conservation and other social causes. He wishes to amalgamate his passion for sustainability and business development to create a platform suitable for promoting an environmentally beneficial growth in an organization. Kanak is proficient in logistics, supply chain management, marketing and business development. He has boosted product sales through Client Liaisons, Fresh Market Opportunities, Competitor Analysis, Sales Identification Techniques and Product Marketing. Kanak is also a Parts-of-speech and Research Scientist. He loves to sing, write, and is very passionate about wildlife photography and bird-watching. Kanak believes learning is a constant process and hence, there is forever a scope for growth and betterment.
