Kanchan Ray is a highly experienced and innovative technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Nagarro, where he is motivated by innovation, disruption, and digital transformation. Kanchan is an IIT graduate and has worked in India, US, Germany, and Netherlands. He has led award-winning projects at MNCs and has created services and brands from scratch. He has also led multiple startups, small companies, and grew them. Kanchan has created new products just from an idea and took them to market. He has also created CoEs from scratch and made them into practices. Kanchan has architected multiple solutions, including the multiple award-winning OpenCourseWare (OCW) at MIT. He has also designed the Enterprise Architecture for the UCLA Medical Center and played a key role in their Document Management System (DMS) development. In the past, Kanchan has worked as a Member at Lead Angels, a seed stage angel network, and as Vice President Global Delivery at Calance. At Calance, Kanchan took care of the offshore Delivery Center - end-to-end, and was responsible for the entire delivery center from hiring to processes and project deliveries. He rolled out new products, created multiple brands and products/solutions, and managed a few CoEs (Mobile/Automated QA). Kanchan has also rolled out new services and offerings and successfully managed a project under the SBTR program - Rechargeable Incentive Cards (RIC) to build and commercialize an incentive management product for clinical research involving human subjects. Kanchan's educational background includes a B-Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT and he completed his schooling from Kalyani University Experimental High School. Kanchan's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Research Scientist, Mobile, and QA.
